Church Blog for 24 January 2009
What is Church at home?
I would like to extend a warm welcome to all people reading this may the Lord Jesus Christ bless you and send his ministering angels to watch over you as you go about this life he has given you.
The purpose of this space is to lift up and glorify the name of Jesus Christ, to share the love and the gospel to a sad and dying world. It promotes his online church "Church at home" this concept was formed to help people that struggle through sickness, disability, or have had bad experiences with the church that stops them from getting to live church services. We are non denominational and have from around the world, people that attend Church at home service that do go to and take active roles in Sunday Churches. Church at home is a bible based Church and preaches the gospel as it is, you will not find sermons here to the likening of all, but we teach it the way it was taught by the early church hard hitting to the point and at times confrontational.
We believe that there is no place for a watered down soft gospel to keep people happy the truth as much as it can hurt at times is given here. I would encourage you to have a look at our doctrine that can be found at our website http://churchathome-au.com/index.php?p=1_4_Doctrine To keep up to date with what is happening at Church at home please visit http://churchathome-au.com
What does 2009 have in store for Church at home? As I sit at my desk writing this, amazed at what God has done at Church at Home in the past 21 months, we were 9 months old when I sat this time last year and wrote what has become an all to familiar site on our weekly blog telling newbie's to the blog what we are all about, as you read this we will start the new year being 22 months old and where 2008 laid the foundations for a challenging, fresh outlook for Church at home for 2009 I believe we will continue to see, lives changed, people set free, a greater understanding of God's Bible given, my friend as I have said for some time now 2009 is the year that Church at Home members will take what from Satan what Satan had no right to take in the first place,
*Our Wealth
*Our Health
*Our Rights
*Our Authority
We need to remember this, for "who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?" But we have the mind of Christ." (1 Corinthians 2:16) we have the mind of Christ praise the Lord and then we need to be "casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:5) How may time do I say "Satan wins your mind he wins you?" My friends take comfort knowing this "Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you." Luke 10:19. Nothing shall by any means hurt you, do you believe this so we can go and take back what Satan has taken from us I have no doubt over this, why because Revelation 12:11 says "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death." How did they over come Satan and his cohorts, by the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of their testimony, and they died of the flesh and followed the will of God for their lives. Saints this is why I know we have the victory and why we will take back our wealth, health, rights and authority.
2009 will take Church at Home to a minimum of three countries, will allow us to video tape our messages and place them on the world wide net for a greater number of people to see, will see the use of spiritual gift to be developed and used within the Church.
I believe that we as a Church are being called to focus on these areas for 2009 they are To seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all else with be given until you Matthew 6:33.
To test by the spirit of God all Teaches, Preachers, Pastors to make sure they are using the word of God. 1 John 4:1-3.
To understand that we have the mind of Christ therefore take captive any thought that doesn't line up to the mind of Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5
To use the God given authority we have to take control of our lives and not give Satan & his cohorts a foot hold to come and destroy us. Luke 10:19.
To be consistently filled with the Holy Spirit. John 7:37-38
We long to experience a deeper manifestation of your presence as we draw closer to you like never before. James 4:8
To worship in spirit and truth. John 4:23
Showing the love of Jesus Christ to a lost and hurting world. 1 Corinthians 13
To follow the calling of the Great Commission by building on the foundations set in 2008. Matthew 28:19-20
Be still and know I am God Psalms 46:10
2008 was exciting, but hold your horses 2009 will be mind blowing so fasten your seat belts, and we pray you can be part of it all for his glory

Lessons we can learn from Jesus about prayer
We can learn so much from the life of Jesus and the way he prayed please meditate and pray on these points and watch your prayer life move forward. When you study the life of Jesus you find several important facts that cause him to overcome the world, the flesh, and the devil. Here are a few.......
He spent much of his time in payer, but he never prayed the problem; He prayed the answer. What God said was the answer.
He spoke accurately, never crooked speech. His conversation always consisted of what God said.
He always spoke the end results, not the problem. Never did he confess present circumstances. He spoke the desired results.
He used the written word to defeat Satan
You can have anything at all that you pray for if you line it up with God word it must line up with his word, is this true or is there a catch?
We need to remember what the bible says in Mark 11:20-26
Now in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. And Peter, remembering, said to Him, "Rabbi, (Teacher) look! The fig tree which You (Jesus) cursed has withered away."
So Jesus answered and said to them, "Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, "Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
"And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses."
So what do we need to do to get what we pray for simply, it can be summed up this way you must have faith that you will get answered, not doubt, believe that you have been answered, forgive anyone that has hurt you, confess all sin, and then will I get anything I ask for?
Now that is all fine but what is there anything else that will stop us form getting our prayers answered?
God's hearing is never impaired (94:9). But the language of biblical poetry sometimes pictures God as though he were deaf. (Deut 1:45). This was simply a figurative way to say that God does not always respond to requests as people might want. Sometimes the answers come only after long delays; other times answers may come in an unrecognized form or in a manner the petitioner would not have wanted.
Effective prayer requires that the one praying have the right attitude; reverence; humility, proper motivation and purity. Ineffectual prayer -that which God seems to ignore - often results from the lack of such qualities. Here are a few examples:
Irreverence: God may ignore those who are irreverent (50:21). Pride: God wants to help those who are humble in spirit, not those who are proud (James 4:6) Self-seeking: When people pray fro selfish reasons, god may refuse their requests (James 4:3). Sin: Disobeying God can separate someone from God and cause prayers to go ‘unanswered' (Isaiah 59:1-2). Unbelief: Spiritual instability can undermine prayers (James 1:6-7). Broken relationships: A husband's prayers may be hindered if he has treated his wife disrespectfully (1Peter 3:7)
But more next week.

Wayne's Weekly Bible Verses
15Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. 16And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.
The Consummation of Love
17Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. 18There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. 19We love Him because He first loved us.
Obedience by Faith 20If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? 21And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also. 1 John 4:15-21

101 Scientific Facts & Foreknowledge
Science means knowledge, and true science always agrees with the observable evidence. Scientific research continues to unfold the wonders and mysteries of our universe. Interestingly, there is one book that has anticipated many of these scientific facts. That book is the Bible. This booklet presents 101 scientific facts found in the Scriptures. Many of these facts were penned centuries before they were discovered. Scientific foreknowledge found only in the Bible offers one more piece to the collective proof that the Bible is truly the inspired Word of the Creator. How does this affect you?
