Church Blog for 2 May 2009
What is Church at home?
I would like to extend a warm welcome to all people reading this may the Lord Jesus Christ bless you and send his ministering angels to watch over you as you go about this life he has given you.
The purpose of this space is to lift up and glorify the name of Jesus Christ, to share the love and the gospel to a sad and dying world. It promotes his online church "Church at home" this concept was formed to help people that struggle through sickness, disability, or have had bad experiences with the church that stops them from getting to live church services. We are non denominational and have from around the world, people that attend Church at home service that do go to and take active roles in Sunday Churches. Church at home is a bible based Church and preaches the gospel as it is, you will not find sermons here to the likening of all, but we teach it the way it was taught by the early church hard hitting to the point and at times confrontational.
We believe that there is no place for a watered down soft gospel to keep people happy the truth as much as it can hurt at times is given here. I would encourage you to have a look at our doctrine that can be found at our website http://churchathome-au.com/index.php?p=1_4_Doctrine To keep up to date with what is happening at Church at home please visit http://churchathome-au.com
What does 2009 have in store for Church at home?
As I sit at my desk writing this, amazed at what God has done at Church at Home in the past 21 months, we were 9 months old when I sat this time last year and wrote what has become an all to familiar site on our weekly blog telling newbie's to the blog what we are all about, as you read this we will start the new year being 22 months old and where 2008 laid the foundations for a challenging, fresh outlook for Church at home for 2009 I believe we will continue to see, lives changed, people set free, a greater understanding of God's Bible given, my friend as I have said for some time now 2009 is the year that Church at Home members will take what from Satan what Satan had no right to take in the first place,
*Our Wealth
*Our Health
*Our Rights
*Our Authority
We need to remember this, for "who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?" But we have the mind of Christ." (1 Corinthians 2:16) we have the mind of Christ praise the Lord and then we need to be "casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:5) How may time do I say "Satan wins your mind he wins you?" My friends take comfort knowing this "Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you." Luke 10:19. Nothing shall by any means hurt you, do you believe this so we can go and take back what Satan has taken from us I have no doubt over this, why because Revelation 12:11 says "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death." How did they over come Satan and his cohorts, by the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of their testimony, and they died of the flesh and followed the will of God for their lives. Saints this is why I know we have the victory and why we will take back our wealth, health, rights and authority.
2009 will take Church at Home to a minimum of three countries, will allow us to video tape our messages and place them on the world wide net for a greater number of people to see, will see the use of spiritual gift to be developed and used within the Church.
I believe that we as a Church are being called to focus on these areas for 2009 they are To seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all else with be given until you Matthew 6:33.
To test by the spirit of God all Teaches, Preachers, Pastors to make sure they are using the word of God. 1 John 4:1-3, 1 Thessalonians 5:21.
To understand that we have the mind of Christ therefore take captive any thought that doesn't line up to the mind of Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5
To use the God given authority we have to take control of our lives and not give Satan & his cohorts a foot hold to come and destroy us. Luke 10:19.
To be consistently filled with the Holy Spirit. John 7:37-38
We long to experience a deeper manifestation of your presence as we draw closer to you like never before. James 4:8
To worship in spirit and truth. John 4:23
Showing the love of Jesus Christ to a lost and hurting world. 1 Corinthians 13
To follow the calling of the Great Commission by building on the foundations set in 2008. Matthew 28:19-20
Be still and know I am God Psalms 46:10
2008 was exciting, but hold your horses 2009 will be mind blowing so fasten your seat belts, and we pray you can be part of it all for his glory

Deception verses Truth.
There are at least three avenues through which Satan will attempt to dissuade you from God's truth and deceive you into believing his lies: self-deception, false prophets/teachers, and deceiving spirits. We are vulnerable to Satan's deception in these areas if we fail to clothe ourselves daily with the spiritual armour of belt of truth.
Beware of self-deception.
We deceive ourselves when we hear the word but don't do it (James 1:22; 1 Peter 1:13)
But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. James 1:22
Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ 1 Peter 1:13
We must get on our knees before God as we prepare the message and say. "God is this scripture true in my life?" If not. We had better be honest enough to say to those who hear us, ‘I wish I were a better example of this passage than I am, but I'm still growing in this area. To proclaim the Word of God as if it were true in your life when it's not is a lie. And you are participating in the deception by deceiving yourself. Those of us who receive the word are also vulnerable to self-deception if we fail to put it into practice. James said that hearers of the Word who are not also doers of the Word deceive themselves. (1:22)
Why are we afraid to admit it when our lives don't completely match up to the Scripture? I believe it's because many of us have a perfection complex. We think we have to model perfection and no admit failure. But we can't model perfection because we are not perfect; we can only model growth. The people around us need to know that we are real people in the process of maturing. They need to see how we handle failure as well as how we handle success. When we model this kind of honesty in the Christian community we greatly reduce the possibility of the deceiver gaining a foothold.
Statements of Truth
It is so easy to loose knowledge of the truth in the bible these 11 "Statements of Truth" recited daily will help to keep your focus on him.
1.I recognize that there is only one true and living God who exists, as the Father, son and Holy Spirit. He is worthy of all honour, praise and glory as the One who made all things and holds all things together (see Exodus 20:2,3, Colossians 1:26-17)
2.I recognise that Jesus Christ is the Messiah, the Word who became flesh and dwelt among us. I believe that he came to destroy the words of the devil and that He disarmed the rulers and authorities and made a public display of them. Having triumphed over them (John 1:1,14; Colossians 2:15; 1 John 3:8)
3.I recognise that Jesus Christ is the Messiah, the Word who became flesh and dwelt among us. I believe that he came to destroy the words of the devil and that He disarmed the rulers and authorities and made a public display of them. Having triumphed over them (John 1:1,14; Colossians 2:15; 1 John 3:8)
4.I believe that God demonstrated His own love for me in that while I was still a sinner, Christ died for me, I believe that He has delivered me from the domain of darkness and transferred me to His kingdom, and in Him I have redemptions and the forgiveness of sins. ( see Romans 5:8; Colossians 1:13-14)
5.I choose to be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. I put no confidence in the flesh, for the weapons of warfare are not of the flesh but are divinely powerful for destruction of strongholds. I put on the full armour of God. I resolve to stand firm in my faith and resist the evil one. (see 2 Corinthians 10:4, Ephesians 6:10-20; Philippians 3:3)
6.I believe that apart from Christ I can do nothing, so I declare my complete dependence on Him. I chose to abide in Christ in order to bear much fruit and glorify my Father. I announce to Satan that Jesus is Lord. I reject any and all counterfeit gifts or works of Satan in my life (see John 15:5,8; 1 Corinthians 12:3)

Wayne's Weekly Bible Verse
10Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. 11For it has been declared to me concerning you, my brethren, by those of Chloem's household, that there are contentions among you. 12Now I say this, that each of you says, "I am of Paul," or "I am of Apollos," or "I am of Cephas," or "I am of Christ." 13Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul? 14I thank God that I baptized none of you except Crispus and Gaius, 15lest anyone should say that I had baptized in my own name. 16Yes, I also baptized the household of Stephanas. Besides, I do not know whether I baptized any other. 17For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel, not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of no effect. 1 Corinthians 1:10-17
