Church Blog for 3 October 2009

What is Church at home?

I would like to extend a warm welcome to all people reading this may the Lord Jesus Christ bless you and send his ministering angels to watch over you as you go about this life he has given you.

The purpose of this space is to lift up and glorify the name of Jesus Christ, to share the love and the gospel to a sad and dying world.  It promotes his online church "Church at home" this concept was formed to help people that struggle through sickness, disability, or have had bad experiences with the church that stops them from getting to live church services.
We are non denominational and have from around the world, people that attend Church at home service that do go to and take active roles in Sunday Churches.  Church at home is a bible based Church and preaches the gospel as it is, you will not find sermons here to the likening of all, but we teach it the way it was taught by the early church hard hitting to the point and at times confrontational.

We believe that there is no place for a watered down soft gospel to keep people happy the truth as much as it can hurt at times is given here. I would encourage you to have a look at our doctrine that can be found at our website http://churchathome-au.com/index.php?p=1_4_Doctrine  To keep up to date with what is happening at Church at home please visit http://churchathome-au.com

What does 2009 have in store for Church at home?

As I sit at my desk writing this, amazed at what God has done at Church at Home in the past 21 months, we were 9 months old when I sat this time last year and wrote what has become an all to familiar site on our weekly blog telling newbie's to the blog what we are all about, as you read this we will start the new year being 22 months old and where 2008 laid the foundations for a challenging, fresh outlook for Church at home for 2009 I believe we will continue to see, lives changed, people set free, a greater understanding of God's Bible given, my friend as I have said for some time now 2009 is the year that Church at Home members will take what from Satan what Satan had no right to take in the first place,

*Our Wealth

*Our Health

*Our Rights

*Our Authority

We need to remember this, for "who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?" But we have the mind of Christ." (1 Corinthians 2:16) we have the mind of Christ praise the Lord and then we need to be "casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:5) How may time do I say "Satan wins your mind he wins you?" My friends take comfort knowing this "Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you." Luke 10:19. Nothing shall by any means hurt you, do you believe this so we can go and take back what Satan has taken from us I have no doubt over this, why because Revelation 12:11 says "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death." How did they over come Satan and his cohorts, by the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of their testimony, and they died of the flesh and followed the will of God for their lives. Saints this is why I know we have the victory and why we will take back our wealth, health, rights and authority.

2009 will take Church at Home to a minimum of three countries, will allow us to video tape our messages and place them on the world wide net for a greater number of people to see, will see the use of spiritual gift to be developed and used within the Church.

I believe that we as a Church are being called to focus on these areas for 2009 they are

To seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all else with be given until you Matthew 6:33.

To test by the spirit of God all Teaches, Preachers, Pastors to make sure they are using the word of God. 1 John 4:1-3, 1 Thessalonians 5:21.

To understand that we have the mind of Christ therefore take captive any thought that doesn't line up to the mind of Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5

To use the God given authority we have to take control of our lives and not give Satan & his cohorts a foot hold to come and destroy us. Luke 10:19.

To be consistently filled with the Holy Spirit. John 7:37-38

We long to experience a deeper manifestation of your presence as we draw closer to you like never before. James 4:8

To worship in spirit and truth. John 4:23

Showing the love of Jesus Christ to a lost and hurting world. 1 Corinthians 13

To follow the calling of the Great Commission by building on the foundations set in 2008. Matthew 28:19-20

Be still and know I am God Psalms 46:10

2008 was exciting, but hold your horses 2009 will be mind blowing so fasten your seat belts, and we pray you can be part of it all for his glory

Religion Verses Christianity,

What is Faith,

What is Repentance and is It Important,

Christians by Deed or Christians by title!

A Born Again Experience, What Is It?

So I am Born Again What Now

So as a new Christian what do I need to do to grow in Christ

Useful Helps

I pray that his resource will be a blessing to all as we read it and apply it information to our lives.

Bondage Verses Freedom

It is our responsibility not to allow sin to have control over our bodies. We are not to use our bodies or another person's body as an instrument of unrighteousness. Romans 6:12-13 tells us Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.

Sexual immorality is not only a sin against God but a sin against your body, the temple of the Holy Spirit for it says in 1 Corinthians 6:18-19 And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness. I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented your members as slaves of uncleanness, and of lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves of righteousness for holiness. To find freedom from sexual bondage, begin by saying the following prayer...

Dear Heavenly Father,
I ask you to bring to my mind every sexual use of my body as an instrument of unrighteousness so that, in Christ I can renounce these sexual sins and break their bondage in my life. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

As the Lord brings to your mind every wrong sexual use of your body, whether it was done to you (rape, incest, sexual molestation) or willing by you (pornography, masturbation, sexual immorality) renounce every occasion by saying......

Dear Heavenly father,
I come to you as Lord of Lords and king of Kings I renounce............................(name the specific use of your body) with........................................(name any other person involved) I ask you to break this sinful bond with........................(name) In Jesus name I pray. Amen

You would pray this prayer for all the times the Lord has shown you that you have used your body as an instrument of unrighteousness. After you have finished commit your body to the Lord by praying....

Lord Jesus I thank you for the privilege of coming before your throne with boldness,
I renounce all these uses of my body as an instrument of unrighteousness, and I admit to any wilful participation. I choose now to present my eyes, mouth, mind, heart, hands, and feet, and my sexual organs to You as instruments of righteousness. I present my whole body to you as a Living sacrifice, Holy and acceptable. I choose to reserve the sexual use of my body to marriage only. I reject the lie that my body is not clean or that it is dirty or in any way unacceptable to you because of my past. Lord thank you that You have forgiven me and cleansed me with your blood, and that I am accepted for the way I am. I choose now to accept myself and my body as clean in your eyes. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

This procedure would be use again in the following special needs of Divorce, Homosexuality, Abortion, Suicidal Tendencies, Drivenness & Perfectionism, Eating Disorders, Substance Abuse. Then praying the following prayers.

Divorce.

Lord,
I confess to you any part I played in my divorce, please show me the specifics. I thank you for your forgiveness, and I choose not to condemn myself. I renounce the lie that divorce affects my identity with Christ. I am a Child of God, and I reject the lie that I am a second class Christians because of the divorce. I reject the lie that I am worthless, unlovable, and my life is empty and meaningless. I am complete in Christ who loves me and accepts me as I am. Lord I commit all the hurts in my life to You for I have chosen to forgive those who hurt me. I also place my future in Your hands and seek human companionship in the Church. I surrender to Your will, should their be another spouse. I pray this in the haling name of Jesus, my saviour Lord and Closest friend. Amen.

Homosexuality

Lord,
I renounce the lie that You created me or anyone else to be homosexual, and I agree in Your word that You forbid homosexual behaviour. I choose to accept myself as a child of God. I thank you that You created me as a man/women. I renounce all homosexual thoughts, urges, drives, and acts, and renounce all way Satan has use these to pervert my relationships. I announce that I am free in Christ Jesus to relate to the opposite sex and my own sex the way You intended. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Abortion

Lord,
I confess that I was not a proper guardian and keeper of the life you entrusted to me, and I admit that is a sin. Thank you that because of Your forgiveness I can forgive myself. I recognize that the child is in Your caring hands for all eternity. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

Suicidal Tendencies

Lord,
I renounce all suicidal thoughts and any attempts I've made to take my life or injure myself in any way. I renounce the lie that life is hopeless and that I will find peace and freedom by taking my own life. Satan is a thief and comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I choose life in Jesus Christ who said He came to give me life and give it abundantly. Than you for Your forgiveness that allows me to forgive myself. I choose to believe that there is always hope in Jesus Christ. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

Drivenness & Perfectionism.

Lord,
I renounce the lie that my self-worth is dependent upon my ability to perform. I announce that my identity and sense of worth is found in who I am as Your child. I renounce seeking the approval and acceptance of other people, and I choose to believe that I am already approved and I choose to believe that I am already approved and accepted by Jesus Christ because of His death and resurrection for me. I choose to believe the truth that I have been saved, not by deeds done in righteousness, but according to your mercy. I choose to believe that I am no longer under the curse of the law because Christ became a curse for me. I receive the free gift of life in Jesus Christ and choose to abide in Him. I renounce striving for perfection by living under the law. By your grace Heavenly Father, I choose from this day forward to walk by faith in the power of Your Holy Spirit according to what You have said is true. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Eating Disorders or Self Mutilation

Lord,
I renounce the lie that my value as a person is dependent upon my appearance and performance. I renounce cutting or abusing myself, vomiting and using laxatives, or starving myself as a means of being in control, altering my appearance or trying to cleanse myself of evil. I announce only the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses me of sin. I realise I have been brought with a price and my body, the temple of the Holy Spirit belongs to God. Therefore, I choose to glorify God in my body. I renounce the lie that I am evil or any part of my body is evil. Thank you that You accept me just they way I am in Christ. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Substance Abuse

Lord,
I confess that I have misused substances (alcohol, tobacco, prescription or street drugs)for the purpose of pleasure to escape the reality or cope with difficult problems. I confess I have abused my body and programmed my mind in a harmful way. I have quenched the Holy Spirit as well. Thank you for forgiving me. I renounce any satanic connection or influence in my life my misuse of food and Chemicals. I cast my anxieties onto Christ Jesus who loves me. I commit myself to yield no longer to substance abuse, but instead I choose to allow the Holy Spirit to direct and empower me. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Twenty Cans of Success

13.Why should I feel alone when Jesus said he is with me always and he will never leave me nor forsake me (Matthew 28:20, Hebrews 13:5)

14.Why would I feel as if I'm cursed or have bad luck when the bible says that Christ rescued me from the curse of the law that I might receive his spirit by faith (Galatians 3:13-14)

15.Why should I be unhappy when I, like Paul, can learn to be content whatever the circumstances (Philippians 4:11)

1Am I not an apostle? Am I not free? Have I not seen Jesus Christ our Lord? Are you not my work in the Lord?
2If I am not an apostle to others, yet doubtless I am to you. For you are the seal of my apostleship in the Lord.
3My defense to those who examine me is this:
4Do we have no right to eat and drink?
5Do we have no right to take along a believing wife, as do also the other apostles, the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas?
6Or is it only Barnabas and I who have no right to refrain from working?
7Who ever goes to war at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard and does not eat of its fruit? Or who tends a flock and does not drink of the milk of the flock? 1 Corinthians 9:1-7
