Church Blog for 17 October 2009
What is Church at home?
I would like to extend a warm welcome to all people reading this may the Lord Jesus Christ bless you and send his ministering angels to watch over you as you go about this life he has given you.
The purpose of this space is to lift up and glorify the name of Jesus Christ, to share the love and the gospel to a sad and dying world. It promotes his online church "Church at home" this concept was formed to help people that struggle through sickness, disability, or have had bad experiences with the church that stops them from getting to live church services. We are non denominational and have from around the world, people that attend Church at home service that do go to and take active roles in Sunday Churches. Church at home is a bible based Church and preaches the gospel as it is, you will not find sermons here to the likening of all, but we teach it the way it was taught by the early church hard hitting to the point and at times confrontational.
We believe that there is no place for a watered down soft gospel to keep people happy the truth as much as it can hurt at times is given here. I would encourage you to have a look at our doctrine that can be found at our website http://churchathome-au.com/index.php?p=1_4_Doctrine To keep up to date with what is happening at Church at home please visit http://churchathome-au.com
What does 2009 have in store for Church at home? As I sit at my desk writing this, amazed at what God has done at Church at Home in the past 21 months, we were 9 months old when I sat this time last year and wrote what has become an all to familiar site on our weekly blog telling newbie's to the blog what we are all about, as you read this we will start the new year being 22 months old and where 2008 laid the foundations for a challenging, fresh outlook for Church at home for 2009 I believe we will continue to see, lives changed, people set free, a greater understanding of God's Bible given, my friend as I have said for some time now 2009 is the year that Church at Home members will take what from Satan what Satan had no right to take in the first place,
*Our Wealth
*Our Health
*Our Rights
*Our Authority
We need to remember this, for "who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?" But we have the mind of Christ." (1 Corinthians 2:16) we have the mind of Christ praise the Lord and then we need to be "casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:5) How may time do I say "Satan wins your mind he wins you?" My friends take comfort knowing this "Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you." Luke 10:19. Nothing shall by any means hurt you, do you believe this so we can go and take back what Satan has taken from us I have no doubt over this, why because Revelation 12:11 says "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death." How did they over come Satan and his cohorts, by the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of their testimony, and they died of the flesh and followed the will of God for their lives. Saints this is why I know we have the victory and why we will take back our wealth, health, rights and authority.
2009 will take Church at Home to a minimum of three countries, will allow us to video tape our messages and place them on the world wide net for a greater number of people to see, will see the use of spiritual gift to be developed and used within the Church.
I believe that we as a Church are being called to focus on these areas for 2009 they are
To seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all else with be given until you Matthew 6:33.
To test by the spirit of God all Teaches, Preachers, Pastors to make sure they are using the word of God. 1 John 4:1-3, 1 Thessalonians 5:21.
To understand that we have the mind of Christ therefore take captive any thought that doesn't line up to the mind of Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5
To use the God given authority we have to take control of our lives and not give Satan & his cohorts a foot hold to come and destroy us. Luke 10:19.
To be consistently filled with the Holy Spirit. John 7:37-38
We long to experience a deeper manifestation of your presence as we draw closer to you like never before. James 4:8
To worship in spirit and truth. John 4:23
Showing the love of Jesus Christ to a lost and hurting world. 1 Corinthians 13
To follow the calling of the Great Commission by building on the foundations set in 2008. Matthew 28:19-20
Be still and know I am God Psalms 46:10
2008 was exciting, but hold your horses 2009 will be mind blowing so fasten your seat belts, and we pray you can be part of it all for his glory

Useful Helps
I pray that his resource will be a blessing to all as we read it and apply it information to our lives.
Maintaining Your Freedom
Even after freedom in Christ by going through these seven steps, you may come under attack hours, days or even weeks later. But you don't have to yield to the world, the flesh or the devil. As you continue to walk in humble, yield to the world, the flesh or the devil. As you continue to walk in humble submission to God, you can resist the devil and he will flee from you (see James 4:7)
The devil is attracted to sin like flies are attracted to garbage. Get rid of the garbage, and the flies will depart for smellier places. In the same way, walk in the truth, confessing all sin and forgiving those who hurt you and the devil will have no place in your life.
Realize that one victory does not mean that battles are over. Freedom must be maintained.
After completing these steps to freedom, one happy lady asked, ‘Will I always be like this?' The answer is, she will maintain her freedom as long as she remains in a right relationship with God. Even if she slips and falls she should know how to get right with God again. One victim of horrible atrocities shared this illustration:
It was like being forced to play a game with an ugly stranger in my own home. I kept losing and wanting to quit, but ugly stranger wouldn't let me. Finally, I called the police (a higher authority), and they came and escorted the stranger out. He knocked on the door, trying to regain entry, but this time I recognized his voice and didn't let him in.
What a beautiful picture of gaining and keeping your freedom in Christ. We call upon Jesus, the ultimate authority, and He escorts the enemy of our souls away from us.
HOW TO MAINTAIN YOUR FREEDOM
Your freedom must be maintained. We cannot emphasize that enough. You have won a very important battle in an ongoing war. Freedom will continue to be yours as long as you keep choosing the truth and standing firm in the strength of the Lord. If you become aware of lies you have believed, renounce them and choose the truth. If new, painful memories surface, forgive those who hurt you. If the Lord shows you other areas of sin in your life, confess those promptly. This book can serve as a constant guide for you in dealing with the things God points out to you. Some people have found it helpful to walk through the Steps to Freedom in Christ again. As you do, read the instructions carefully.
For your encouragement and growth, we recommend that you read Victory over the Darkness (or the youth version, Stomping out the darkness). Walking in Freedom (a 21 day follow-up devotional) and who I am in Christ. To maintain your freedom in Christ, we strongly suggest the following as well:
1.Be involved in a loving, caring church fellowship where you can be open and honest with others and where God's truth is taught with grace
2.Read and mediate on the Bile daily. Memorize key verses from the Steps of Freedom in Christ. You may want to read the Statement of Truth (see Step 2 p12) aloud daily and study the verses mentioned.
3.Learn to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. Assume responsibility for your thought life. Don't let your mind become passive. Reject all lies, choose to focus on the truth and stand firm in your true identity as a child of God in Christ.
4.Don't drift back to old patterns of thinking, feeling, and acting. This can happen very easily if you become spiritually and mentally lazy. If you are struggling with walking in the truth, share your battles openly with a trusted friend who will pray for you and encourage you to stand firm.
5.Don't expect other people to fight your battles for you, however. They can help you, but they can't think, pray, read the Bible or choose the truth for you.
6.Commit yourself to daily prayer. Prayer demonstrates a life of trusting in and depending on God. You can pray the following prayers often and with confidence. Let the words come from your heart as well as your lips, and feel free to change them to make them your prayers.

Twenty Cans of Success
15.Why should I be unhappy when I, like Paul, can learn to be content whatever the circumstances (Philippians 4:11)
16.Why should I feel worthless when Christ became sin for me so that I might become the righteousness of God ( 2 Corinthians 5:21)
17.Why should I feel helpless in the presence of others when I know that if God is for me, then who is against me (Romans 8:31)

Wayne's Weekly Bible Verses
12If others are partakers of this right over you, are we not even more? Nevertheless we have not used this right, but endure all things lest we hinder the gospel of Christ. 13Do you not know that those who minister the holy things eat of the things of the temple, and those who serve at the altar partake of the offerings of the altar? 14Even so the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should live from the gospel. 15But I have used none of these things, nor have I written these things that it should be done so to me; for it would be better for me to die than that anyone should make my boasting void. 16For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for necessity is laid upon me; yes, woe is me if I do not preach the gospel! 17For if I do this willingly, I have a reward; but if against my will, I have been entrusted with a stewardship. 18What is my reward then? That when I preach the gospel, I may present the gospel of Christ without charge, that I may not abuse my authority in the gospel. 1 Corinthians 9:12-18
